We’re 20 rounds into the Betfred Championship, but what can we expect this weekend?
The Bulls are back at home and will take on Halifax. It was a cracker of an affair last time out with Bradford only just pipping an 8-12 win.
Can the Bulls break into the top two or will ‘Fax climb back into the six? There’s plenty riding on this result.
Then, there’s a feast of second tier action on Sunday, starting with London taking on Barrow in the capital.
It’s an important two points for both teams, with London desperate to keep tabs on Widnes Vikings and drag themselves out of the bottom four.
Meanwhile, the Raiders, who fell into eighth place after last week’s defeat, will need to find a way back into the Play-Off positions before it’s too late.
Batley will play Featherstone Rovers this weekend, while Doncaster will meet with Hunslet at the Eco-Power Stadium.
The Rovers and the Dons are both favourites to win their respective matches, and if the two points are picked up by them, then they are guaranteed to stay in the top six for at least another week.
There’s a standout tie when York host Oldham in Round 20. The league leaders are looking to stretch their run to a terrific 12 league victories but can ill-afford to take Sean Long’s men lightly.
If we cast our minds back to the opening round of 2025, it was the newly promoted Roughyeds who racked up a shocking 50-4 scoreline against the Knights.
It’s predicted to be a much closer contest this time round – and with both sides looking to further secure their places in the league standings – fans should expect an epic showdown!
Finally, it’s a massive clash for the Vikings. They will travel to face Sheffield and are desperate for the two points on offer, as they look to pull themselves away from the bottom four.
It’s the Eagles who have won their last five home meetings with the Vikings dating back to 2011, but Allan Coleman’s men certainly won’t want to lose four in a row…
